Las Cruces’ Joscelyn Olayo-Muñoz, here displaying one of her many USA Boxing title belts, is scheduled to make her Elite Division (open) debut on Thursday at the 2025 USA Boxing National Championships in Lubbock, Texas.

Las Cruces' Joscelyn Olayo-Muñoz, a national champion in multiple age groups and who won an international title earlier this year in Frankfurt, Germany, is scheduled to make her Elite Division (18 and over) debut on Thursday at the 2025 USA Boxing National Championships in Lubbock, Texas.

The 2025 Las Cruces High School graduate is matched against South Texas' Valeria Macias in the Elite 112-pound weight class. 

Peralta's Alexa Garrobo is also scheduled to compete on Thursday. Garrobo is matched against Arizona's Alisha Crockett in the Elite 132-pound bracket.

Both New Mexicans are scheduled to compete in the evening (5 p.m. MT) session.
