Zico Bailey's extraordinary 63-yard chip from midfield, helping New Mexico United to a 4-0 victory over Detroit City, is the 2025 USL Championship Goal of the Year.

In the fifth minute of the Sept. 10 match in Albuquerque, Bailey took a pass from Will Seymore near midfield and looked up to see Detroit goalkeeper Carlos Herrera well outside his team's penalty area. Bailey let a shot fly from past midfield that sailed just over the hands of a retreating Herrera and found the back of the net.

The strike, one of 16 finalists in the Goal of the Year content, rose through multiple rounds of fan voting before ultimately claiming the top honor.
