UNM football schedule: Lobos will play on national TV seven times this fall

Seven of New Mexico football’s 12 games this season will be broadcast on national television, including five conference games and its season-opener against Michigan.
Of the games announced by the networks Thursday, four already have kickoff times. Two will run on Fox and CBS Sports Network — the Mountain West’s primary broadcast partners — each, while the remaining five are scheduled for broadcasts on NBC, Fox and Big Ten Network.
Three of UNM’s games (a nonconference tilt with UCLA, its conference opener at San Jose State and season finale against San Diego State) have been moved to Fridays.
Playing at Michigan Stadium, UNM will kick off its season against the Wolverines (Aug. 30, 5:30 p.m. MT) on NBC. Two weeks later, the Lobos travel to the Rose Bowl for a weekday matchup with UCLA (Sept. 12); per a release from UNM, the game will be broadcast on a Big Ten television partner.
UNM will then open its Mountain West schedule on the road against San Jose State (Oct. 3, 8 p.m.) on Fox Sports One before traveling to Boise State (Oct. 11) for a game broadcast through Fox; an ensuing home game against Nevada (Oct. 18) will also air on Fox.
The Lobos close their season with a game at Air Force (Nov. 22, 5 p.m.) and a home finale against San Diego State (Nov. 28, 1:30 p.m.) on Black Friday. Both games will air via CBS Sports Network.
Broadcasts and kickoff times for UNM’s home games against Idaho State (Sept. 6), New Mexico State (Sept. 27), Utah State (Oct. 25), Colorado State (Nov. 15) and a road game against UNLV (Nov. 1) have not been set. Further information regarding those games is expected closer to the season.
