Lucas Tracy, sr., ABQ Academy: Tracy was outstanding for the Chargers on Thursday night against Rio Grande, throwing four touchdown passes in a 50-0 victory.
Daniel Villegas, sr., Valencia: The running back accumulated three touchdowns in a 48-20 victory for the Jaguars at Kirtland Central.
Cam Dyer, jr., La Cueva: Dyer had a hand in all five of the Bears’ touchdowns on Friday night, rushing for three and throwing two more in La Cueva’s 35-14 win over Rio Rancho.
Elijah Brody, sr., West Mesa: The Mustangs’ outstanding quarterback threw for over 180 yards and rushed for 168 more in West Mesa’s 42-6 road victory at Santa Fe.
Alijah Gonzales, sr., Volcano Vista: The Hawks’ talented senior running back was over 100 yards and scored all three of the Hawks’ touchdowns at the Field of Dreams in a 24-7 win over Las Cruces.
Gabriel Trujillo, jr., Bernalillo: The outside linebacker spent a lot of time in the Valley backfield on Thursday night, with 2½ sacks and a fumble recovery in the Spartans’ 12-6 win over Valley.
Nye Estrada, sr., Artesia: The Bulldogs’ gifted quarterback opened his 2023 season with three touchdown passes as Artesia dominated Carlsbad 55-7.
Manny Fuentez, sr., Roswell: The Coyotes’ QB was off the rails Friday against Lovington. He threw three TD passes and rushed for two more, while accounting for over 300 combined pass/rush yards in a 45-18 win.
Mason Hohsfield, jr., Hope Christian: The Huskies’ running back scored four touchdowns Saturday in Hope’s season-opening win in Espanola against McCurdy.
