After first surrendering an 11-run fifth inning, the Albuquerque Isotopes scored four runs in the eighth inning and six in the bottom of the ninth inning, capped by Jimmy Herron's RBI single for a dramatic, come-from-behind 17-16 victory over the visiting Sacramento River Cats.

For the Isotopes, DH Daniel Montano went 4-for-4 with 4 runs scored and 3 RBIs; SS Connor Kaiser was 2-for-3 with 3 runs and 3 RBIs; and CF Wynton Bernard drove in 3 runs.
The teams combined for 35 hits, 13 walks, 8 home runs, 10 doubles and a triple and 12 pitchers (six for each team).
The win keeps the Isotopes (17-10) alone in second place in the PCL's second half standings.
