World Series closer to appear at upcoming card, memorabilia show in Albuquerque
Mike Montgomery, who spent five years as an MLB reliever, is set to make an appearance at the New Mexico Card Show in Albuquerque. The show will be held the Marriott Albuquerque Uptown on Nov. 10-12.
The show is open 1-7 p.m. Nov. 10, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Nov. 11 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 12. It features sports and non-sports collectibles, game-used memorabilia and autographs.
Montgomery is best known for throwing the final pitch of the 2016 World Series, leading to a groundout fielded by Kris Bryant to give the Cubs their first title since 1908. He will be available for autographs on Saturday, Nov. 11 from noon to 4 p.m.
