Alan R. Stemm January 16, 1938 - October 24, 2025 Alan R. Stemm, age 87, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away with his family by his side on October 24, 2025. He was born in Elkhart, Indiana to Richard and Gladys Stemm. He graduated from Elkhart High School in 1956, served in the army, and married Joan E. Miller on August 6, 1961. In 1964, he got a job with Sandia National Labs as an electrical engineer and moved to Albuquerque. He retired from Sandia in 2003. He has long been an active member of Asbury United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, 2 sons (James and Michael), and a daughter-in-law (Sarah). He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Gary and Denis; and a sister, Joan. He will be buried in Rice Cemetary in Elkhart, Indiana with a service to be held at a later date.
