Andrea "Dre" Nichole Gurule 1985-2024 With very heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Andrea "Dre" Nichole Gurule, a loving daughter, sister, aunt, fiancà and friend. Andrea departed this world leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. Andrea was a dedicated woman to her faith, family, cousins and friends. Andrea will be deeply missed by many. Andrea is survived by her loving father, Jose Maria Gurule; and loving brothers, Matthew Gurule (Nicole), and Marcus Gurule (Tiffany); her beautiful nephews, Isaiah, Noah, Dominic, Preston, Joseph and Lucas; and her wonderful fiancÃ, Jefferson (Jeff) Vandrew Jr. Andrea now reunites in Heaven with her beloved mother, Marilyn O. Gurule; Jose's parents, Herman and Josefita B. Gurule; and Marilyn's parents, Vicente and Elsie Olguin; along with many other aunts, uncles and cousins. Andrea was born to Jose and Marilyn (originally from Belen) in Apple Valley, Calif., on April 15, 1985. She was their "tax" baby, always reminding everyone to do their taxes. The Gurule family relocated to Belen, where Andrea excelled academically and participated in the marching band. She then graduated from Belen High School, class of 2003. Andrea was a wonderful spirit to have lived. If you encountered Andrea, she sure would have made you laugh with her quick wits and her hilarious jokes. No one knew Andrea to be in a bad mood or angry with anyone. Andrea was the beauty and the laughter that always brightened any room up. If you ever met Andrea, your friendship or relationship was sure to be a close one, she was a very welcoming person. Andrea was a very talented young woman, conquering anything thrown her way. She played and mastered many instruments, such as the flute, piccolo and trumpet. After high school, she studied to be a phlebotomist and worked at Tri-Core before moving to Salt Lake City, Utah, where she continued in the medical field as a health analyst. Living in Utah, Andrea enjoyed hiking and scenic walks. One of Andrea's many endeavors was moving to New York. She lived in Middletown and braved the coldest of winters, where she continued to work. She worked for Nuvance Health in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., before relocating to Florida. Andrea spent the last few years of her life residing in Flagler Beach, Fla., with her soulmate and fiancÃ, Jeff. Andrea worked remotely in their beach house, at Actalent Scientific for Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, N.Y. Andrea was a frequent attendee at the couple's parish, Santa Maria del Mar. Andrea frequently visited New Mexico to visit her family and spend time with her favorite little people her nephews. Among their adventures together were rock climbing and hiking Tomà Hill. Baking cookies and bread were always among their favorites. Andrea will be greatly missed and will be brought home to her final resting place, next to her momma.
