Antonio Lucio Nieto In the early hours of February 27, 2025, Antonio Lucio Nieto, 89, walked across the threshold of this earthly life into the loving arms of God. He joins all those who have come before him. Antonio was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and most importantly a friend. Quiet and unassuming, he lived and transitioned with dignity and respect. A million words would only scratch the surface of how much he meant to us. Many thanks to the hospice team that helped care for him in his last days. Antonio had a large family. He joins three sons, Christopher Dominic, Kenneth James, and Vincent Gerard in heaven. He is survived by his wife Ramona, sons Anthony, Roger, and Leonard, daughters in law Maura and Chris, grandchildren Aaron, Lily, Alyssa, Hannah, Dominic, and Patrick, and great-grandson Jordan. A celebratory mass will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave., NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. A rosary will be recited at 9:30am followed by a mass at 10:00am. Interment will be at Santa Fe National Cemetary, Santa Fe, NM.
