Avril Christine Stamps Avril Christine Stamps passed away September 23, 2025 with her daughters by her side. Avril was born in Gallup, NM, on January 14, 1947 to John Patrick and Maureen Lilian Bigley who both precede her in death. While growing up in Gallup, Avril met and married the love of her life Jack E. Stamps. They married on June 5, 1965. He proceeded her in death on June 10, 2017. Jack and Avril were married for 52 wonderful years. Avril is survived by her two daughters Tracey and husband Robert, April and Husband to be Daniel; 4 grandchildren Sarah (Kody), Jessica (Julian), Marie, Jaden (Alicia); and 3 great-grandchildren, Jackson and Amelia and baby girl on the way. Avril is affectionately known as Mammie by her Grand Children. Avril is known for her love of music and the casinos. Avril is 1 of 8 children. She is survived by Jeff, David, Jackie, Maureen, Johnny, Paul, Heather and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers please donate to Avril's favorite charity St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her memory.
