Benny Sanchez It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Benny Sanchez, a lifelong Albuquerque resident, who left this world peacefully on June 18, 2025. Born on October 25, 1952, to Herman and Querina Sanchez. Benny is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Felix Casados. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Vivian Jeanette Sanchez; his daughters and sons-in-law, Crystal and Chris Luna, Dr. Amber and Rick Gallegos, and Dr. Brittney Sanchez; and his cherished grandchildren, Bella, Jacob, Adam, and Leo Benny. He also leaves behind his in-laws, David and Jennie Casados; his sister and brother-in-law, Sylvia and Sal Arias; the Giron family; and his Godsons. Benny's towering presence, deep kindness, and warm heart will be profoundly missed, but a piece of him lives on in the strong family he so proudly built. Services will include a Rosary to be held Monday, June 30, 2025 at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church (619 Copper NW, Albuquerque, NM 87106). A Funeral Mass on Monday, June 30, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church. An Interment following the service at Mt. Calvary Cemetery (1900 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102).
