Bernadette "Berna" Garcia Bernadette Garcia passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. A passionate fan of the San Francisco 49ers, Berna brought the same enthusiasm to her work with youth, serving as a mentor and role model to many. Her ability to connect with others was unmatchedthere truly wasn't a stranger she didn't meet. Bernadette's legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the love she gave, and the memories she created. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. She is proceeded in death by her father, James "Bo" Garcia. Is survived by her mother, Geneva "G" Garcia. Sister, brother-in-law, nephew and niece. Services to celebrate Berna's life will be held at Queen of Heaven Church, 5310 Claremont Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. Rosary on Monday, August 11th, 2025 at 7:00PM, Funeral Mass Tuesday, August 12th, 2025 at 10:00AM,Burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
