Bonita Faye Rose Bonita Faye Rose (Maier) passed away on August 1, 2025. Bonnie was born May 16, 1942 in Wadsworth, Ohio to Edward L. Maier and Lula (Romig) Maier. On March 4, 1972, she married Samuel Dee Rose of Albuquerque, NM. Bonnie is survived by her children: David Rose, Tucson, AZ, Christa (Jim) Addy of Des Moines, IA, Granddaughter Faye Addy of Des Moines, IA, a niece Lynne Scott, Phoenix, AZ, nephews: Bart (Tamela) Deitsch of Lima, OH, Scott Deitsch of Bluffton, OH, Steve (Christina) Deitsch of Spearfish, SD. Bonnie was a 1960 graduate of Kenmore High School, Akron, OH. She received an associate's degree from Hammel-Actual Business School 1960-1961, Akron, OH, and Certificate of Achievement for the completion of Contracted Braille-Hadley School for Professional Studies correspondence course, Winnetka, IL in 2011. Bonnie worked for the City of Akron, OH Purchasing Department as a typist. Later in life she worked in the visually impaired classrooms for the school districts of Kansas City and Raytown, MO. In Albuquerque, she worked for the NM Visually impaired program and also did copying/laminating (workroom) and substituted for staff in classrooms. Bonnie was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Bonnie's sister Louann Edra Deitsch (Maier) preceded her in death on Sept. 29, 2023.
