Carolyn Ritchie Wilson Carolyn Ritchie Wilson,92, passed away peacefully September 21, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Carolyn was born in Mansfield, Ohio on July 1, 1933. She spent 13 years of her life in nearby Lexington and then moved to Albuquerque, NM with her parents. After graduating from Highland High School she attended the University of New Mexico and married James (Jim) J. Wilson. They had three daughters and were married for 21 years. Carolyn was preceded in death by her oldest daughter, Stephanie Wilson. She is survived by her other two daughters Adrienne (Tod) Lambert and their two children Stephanie and Ellie Marie of Nashville, TN. Cheryl (Dan) Bagley and their two children of Hidden Valley PA, as well as her five great grandchildren. Carolyn was a member of the Junior League and active as an alumna in her sorority Chi Omega. She worked in the legal field and then became a realtor in Albuquerque. In 1979 she moved to Del Mar, California where she worked as a travel agent and resided there for 40 years. She loved beach life and was an avid golfer. At 84 she drove her beloved mini-Cooper across the country from Southern California to Fort Mill, SC - a true testament to her adventurous spirit and independence. Carolyn enjoyed the Carolinas for five years and then relocated near Pittsburgh, PA. She became a Steelers fan and lived there until her passing. Carolyn loved to travel and she was fortunate to see most of the world. She experienced many cruises and at 90 traveled to four states to visit friends and family. Carolyn's vibrant spirit, passion for life and unwavering determination touched all who knew her. She will be deeply missed. The family will have a private service to celebrate her life and legacy.
