Cecelia Cruz-Davis Cecelia Cruz-Davis went to heaven on
Cecelia Cruz-Davis Cecelia Cruz-Davis went to heaven on August 2, 2025, at home in the arms of her loving daughter Lisa, her husband Roel, daughter Gabby, and wonderful caretaker Maryann who devoted themselves to mom's care in her final earthly years. She was as strong in death as she was in life. What can you say when summing up someone's life? How do you define survival in adversity? For our mother, her greatest love was God and her children. Her mantra was: be honest, humble, moral, and pray about it. Never let it be said that she was an easy person to understand but she was passionate, defended those she loved, and always forgave. She is preceded in death by her husband (Clarence) whom she loved dearly, her cherished grandson Matthew, her mother Juanita, and her father Pablo. She came from family of 9 but all but one of them have preceded her in death. We have no doubt her family beyond welcomed her with open arms. She leaves behind one surviving sister, Hope. She is also survived by her 7 children, Rene (Larry), Clarence (Danette), Christina, Clinton (Josette), Lisa (Roel), Rexella (Eric), and James. She has 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 2 (soon to be 3) great-great-grandchildren. God speed mom may God bless you in heaven as he did on earth. We all love you. A celebration of life will be held at The Experience Church, 110 Quincy NE on August 23, 2025, at 12:30 officiated by her son, Clarence and she will be interred at Monte Calvary near her family.
