Craig Grover Craig D. Grover, 70, passed away on January 5, 2025. Craig lived in Albuquerque for 69 years. He was a very kind-hearted, quiet man who loved his family, which always included a beloved dog. Many people were familiar with Craig's love of storytelling, and he was the steward of the Grover family tree. Craig was a gifted drummer who as a young man played in symphonic and jazz ensemble bands at Manzano High School. From passing on his loves of rock music and roller coasters to his two younger sisters, to camping with his young daughter or teaching her archery, to teaching an adult extension Country Western dance class, or having people over to share the foods that he enjoyed grilling or smoking outdoors, Craig had many interests and hobbies, and enjoyed sharing them with others. Craig was an electrician for many years, but he was most proud of his job at Dataprint, where he had been working for over 30 years at the time of his death. He cared deeply about his work there, and was admired by his clients and co-workers. On weekends, his passion was NASCAR. Craig was preceded in death by his father Monie Grover and mother Nora Lee Grover. He is survived by his wife Kristen, his dog Pumpkin, his daughter Danessa Perry and her husband Tristan, his sister Stacey Stout and her husband Hilton, his sister Leann Penfold and her husband Brett, his three grandchildren, two nieces, two nephews, four great nephews, and one great niece. A Celebration of Life will be held on May 3, 2025.
