Dale Stolz Dale Edwin Stolz, age 82, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his children on May 8, 2025. He was born on April 28, 1943 in Wichita, Kansas, and spent his youth in Spokane, Washington. Dale lived a full and varied life, being a soldier, an artist, a rebel, a student, a philosopher, a husband, a poet, a trouble-making office man, a psychologist, a scholar, a writer, and most important to him, a Papa (father and grandfather). He remained a student of life until the end, always curious, always studying, always thinking. He will be remembered for his kindness of spirit, positivity, generosity and loving heart. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Lorriane Stolz and nephew Corey Day. He is survived by his sister Diane Day and husband Wendall, children, Jessica Martinez and husband Brian, Neal Stolz and wife Hannah, Ethan Stolz, six grandchildren Maya, Amy and Nathan Martinez and Ryan, Zachary and Alexander Stolz. He is also survived by nephew Ryan Day and wife Syndy, along with multiple great nephews and nieces. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, 10:00am at the Cathedral Church of St. John, 318 Silver Ave. SW. Brightly colored attire encouraged. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
