David Michael Krukar It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of David Michael (Mick) Krukar at the age of 64 of a heart attack at his home in Huntsville, Alabama. He was born on August 7, 1960 and left this world on February 17, 2025. Mick was predeceased by his son, Joel Michael and is survived by his parents, David and Mary Frances (Fran) Krukar, brother Richard, son John Aaron and wife Melissa, grandchildren Joaquin and Carmen and a large extended family. As a member of a military family, Mick lived in many places growing up. He graduated from Kaiserslautern American High School, Germany and graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Computer Engineering degree. While working for the US Geological Survey, Mick went on several trips including Russia and Antarctica twice. He went on to have a successful career with other companies as a computer engineer in Albuquerque. In 2013, he was transferred to Huntsville. Mick had a strong work ethic and enjoyed his work with computers. In recent years he became a coin collector. Mick was kind, generous with a big heart and loved by all who knew him. Family was very important for him. He loved his sons dearly and was very proud of them. He was delighted to have grandchildren and cherished time spent with them. Mick will be greatly missed by many. There will be a memorial held at the Sangre de Cristo Community Hall, 8901 Candelaria Rd NE, 87111 on April 27, 2025 from 2 to 4pm. A private interment has been held. The family requests any donations in honor of Mick be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital or Shriners Hospitals.
