David Savoy Thomas David Savoy Thomas, 66, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, joined his beloved daughter Chrissy Lynn in Heaven on June 17, 2025. Born on April 22, 1959, in Batesville, Arkansas, to Anita and Ronald Thomas. Preceded in death by his mother Anita B. Thomas, father Ronald Thomas, daughter Chrissy Lynn Thomas, grandsons Keshawn M. Thomas and baby Drew, great-nephews Javon Thomas-Williams, and Issiah Thomas-Taylor. David is survived by his children: David S. Thomas II, Joshua A. Thomas, Christopher A. Thomas, Andrew M. Thomas, and Alexandra L. Hartley. He also had 17 beloved grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. David's life was marked by quiet strength, fierce love, and unwavering faith. His legacy lives on in the lives of those he touched and the family he cherished. A celebration of life will be held on July 12, 2025 at 4:00pm at Macedonia Baptist Church, 1509 Edith SE Albuquerque, NM 87102. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be sent to The American Diabetes Association or local non-profit of choice.
