Diane Klaer Corry A Life of Love and Family The first born of four daughters, Diane was born July 22, 1939 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, baptized at St. Mark's Lutheran Church the same year, and completed her baptismal journey on February 1, 2025 in Los Angeles, California. Diane graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology in 1961 and pursued a fulfilling career as a social worker. She married Howard Corry on August 29, 1965. Howard's job as a Lutheran minister took them to Connecticut, California, Hawaii, New Zealand, Illinois and New Mexico. While living in Hawaii they had two sons. After retiring in 2002 from her job as a social worker for the State of New Mexico, Diane was active in her church and enjoyed spending time with her family, hiking, reading and playing Scrabble. In 2015, Diane moved to California to be closer to her sons and grandchildren. Diane was passionate about helping others in her community. She instilled in her sons a deep love of family, compassion for those in need, and a strong work ethic. Diane is survived by her sons Christopher (Susan) Corry and Keith (Andrea) Corry; and grandchildren, Caroline, Anya, and Ezra. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Faries and Marian Klaer, and her youngest sister, Jean Faries.
