Dixie Lee Gribble Dixie Lee Gribble (Rozell), a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from complications after falling during a walk with one of her dogs. Dixie was born in Albuquerque, NM on September 11, 1951 to parents, Neal and LaTrelle Rozell. Dixie is survived by her daughters Vickie (Ted) Humphrey, Stephanie (James) Montessi, Sherrie Poyer; also surviving is Dana (Paul) Baxley, her niece, raised as a bonus daughter. Her legacy continues with cherished grandchildren, Leah Baca, Sarah ScimonÃ, Mark Montessi, Ryan Taylor, Neal Taylor, John Taylor, and Tobias Poyer. Beloved great-grandchildren are Paislee, Delaney, Bodi, and Jubilee Baca. Other beloved family members who survive her are her sisters-in-law, Joyce (Bobby) Brockman and Julie Gribble, nieces, Laurie (Gary) Smothermon, Christy (Monic) Peralta, and nephew, Don Gribble. She is preceded in death by her parents, Neal and LaTrelle Rozell, her husband Larry Gribble, daughter Shellie Taylor, sister Jerilou Werick, and many other family members remembered at the Sandia Memory Gardens cemetery at 9500 San Pedro Dr NE in Albuquerque where she will be laid to rest.
