Dolores Isabel Ulibarri Dolores Ulibarri, was born on January 19, 1951, in Santa Fe, New Mexico, to Samuel and Trinidad Tafoya, and raised in San Rafael, New Mexico. Dolores later attended high school in Shelby, Nebraska, where she began forming lifelong bonds with friends and family. In 1970, Dolores married the love of her life, David Ulibarri, and together they built a beautiful life, raising their two children in Grants, New Mexico, before relocating to Tijeras, New Mexico, in 2012. Dolores was a one of a kind person with a unique heart, known for her fiery spirit. She had an unconditional love for her family and friends, and her grandchildren were the apple of her eye. They held a special place in her heart, and brought her endless joy. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Trinidad Tafoya, and her siblings: Ernest Tafoya, Sam Tafoya, Tommy Tafoya, Dora Segura, Estefanita Sena, Evangeline Manning, Theresa Houston, and Andrew Tafoya;Father-in-law Filimon Ulibarri and Mother-in-law Rufina Ulibarri She leaves behind her devoted husband, David Ulibarri; her brother, Martin Tafoya; her sister, Jane Caseleman (Charlie); her children, Troy Ulibarri (Yolanda) and Naomi Moraga (Michael); and her grandchildren, Michael Timothy Moraga (Katlynn), Alyssa Moraga (Joshua), and Hunter, Sierra, and Jett Ulibarri. Dolores is also survived by her brothers-in-law, Robert Houston, Filimon Ulibarri (Penny), and Michael Ulibarri (Elaine); her sisters-in-law, Ramona Tafoya, Gloria Jaramillo (Leroy), Margie Grine, and Pamela Ulibarri, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends who will forever remember her kindness and endless love. Dolores' passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her love, strength, and dedication will continue to inspire and comfort her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of all who loved her. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, 11:00 AM, March 19, 2025 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. A reception will follow the committal service.
