Dorothy Merrill Dorothy ("Dottie") Merrill died peacefully on Saturday August 16, 2025 at the age of 98. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Merrill. Dottie is survived by her 2 children, son Russell Merrill (wife Barbara Haase), and daughter Barbara Flint (husband Douglas Flint). She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and her sister Brooke Bovo. Dottie was born in New York, NY and was a graduate of Elmira College. She moved to Albuquerque with her family in 1968 and continued her working career with AAA as a traveling consultant, leading group tours all over the world. After retirement she continued her love of travel for the next 3 decades. Dottie was a kind, intelligent, tolerant, curious and positive person. A life well lived, and she will be greatly missed!
