Edward James Sessa Edward "Ed" James Sessa, 78, beloved
Edward James Sessa Edward "Ed" James Sessa, 78, beloved father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2025, to be with our Lord. He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, James and Teresa Sessa; sister, Rita Prassa; and brother, Gene Sessa. He is survived by his brother, Dick Sessa; his children, Eddie (Cristina) Sessa, Mark Sessa, Kim Baker, Sherri Sessa, Paul (Celina) Sessa, Scott Sessa, Natalie (Harbert) Williamson, and Barbara Jones; as well as 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, who will continue to carry his legacy forward. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Ed moved to Albuquerque in 1969, where he dedicated 35 years to raising his family and building his local businesses. After retiring, he enjoyed his time playing golf and living in the beautiful San Diego area before returning to the Midwest in recent years. Ed's life and legacy will be honored in a memorial service on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109. Interment will follow.
