Egan McCormick On July 26, 2025 Egan lost his long battle with COPD. Born in Omaha, Nebraska, he moved to Los Alamos at 3 months of age. He graduated from LAHS and went to get his Bachelor's in Economics from UNM. While working full time at LANL and raising his family he obtained his MBA from UNM-LA. His pride and joy were his 4 children. Tyler (Lauren), Lacey, Chelsea, and Micaela (John), and his two grandchildren Logan and Abel. He could never do enough for them, be it delivering girl scout cookies or boy scout popcorn. He was president of the JROTC and the Golf Course Pool Association. He coached soccer and helped deliver newspapers when all 4 of his children had paper routes. He is survived by his 4 children, his wife Jacquie of nearly 43 years, his grandchildren, brother Zachary, Nephew Chris (Joy) and grandniece Ellie. He was preceded in Death by his parents, sister Amy, his mother and father-in-law and both brothers-in-law. He always had a good joke to tell (not all good) and time to say I love you, even with his last breath. He is sorely missed and did everything he could to prolong his life. Many thanks to the wonderful caregivers MANNM and LAMC and he especially loved the employees at Pulmonary Rehab. A private family service will be held at a later date.
