Frederick Honorio Frederick Honorio, age 88 of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on November 2, 2025 at home after a long struggle with various health issues. Fred was born in 1937 in Salinas, CA to Julian and Ruth Honorio. After graduating from Rippon High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. After serving 4 years, Fred re-enlisted in the U.S. Air Force where his 23 years of service as a supply officer, instructor, and inspector took him to many bases in the U.S and around the world. After retiring from the Air Force, Fred worked for the U.S. Postal Service, where he earned his second retirement. During his early years in the Air Force, he met and married his sweetheart, Marian Vigil, in Albuquerque, NM. Together, they travelled the world and raised three children. A man of many talents and interests, Fred was an avid reader, fisherman, hunter, artist, craftsman, gardener, and of course, salsa, swing, ballroom, and tango dancer with his beloved wife. Fred and Marian dancing at their 60th wedding anniversary party is a cherished memory. He is survived by his two daughters and son-in-law, Ramona and Douglas, and Tanya; two brothers, Nomie and Ronnie; grandchildren, Milana, Bryn, Lisha, Denise, Nicholas, and Thomas; great-grandchildren, Makenna, Henry, Santiago, Macario, Cruz, D asia, Jonah, and Audrey. Funeral followed by burial with his beloved wife will be in the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Date to be determined.
