Gary R. Johnson Gary R. Johnson passed away unexpectedly on June 9, 2025. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 10, 1947. Gary served in the Air Force during the Vietnam conflict, and transferred to Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque in 1970. He was employed with Amrep Corp., was owner of the Southwest Travel Agency, Executive Director of Rio Rancho Golf and Country Club, and owner of Double R Realty. Gary had a love of travel all over the world, and a great love for his Borzois (his many dogs). He is survived by Randall L. Allensworth, his life partner of thirty years; also his siblings Russell (Barb), Donna (Walter), and Jeff (Betty). A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
