Gloria Smith With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our cherished Gloria Smith on August 24, 2025. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Buford (Bud) Smith and her parents Tito and Gregorita Sandoval. Born Gloria Sandoval on December 10, 1934, in Albuquerque and graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1953. She then married Bud in 1956 and was married for 56 years. Deeply mourned by her children Shawn Smith, Deidre Dombroski and Jolene Smith; grandchildren Sara Walker, Miles Dombroski, Alexia Lopex and Lauren Smith; great-grandchildren Sawyer, Athena, Julia, Rand, Ayla, Eleanor, Riley and Parker. Gloria was one of the kindest and most sincere people to grace this planet. An Angel sent from heaven. Gloria's joyful spirit was evident to all who knew her. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loving sisters. Gloria retired from Albuquerque Public Schools as a secretary. Our Love will always remain, and in our hearts, you're still here. Rosary will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 6pm. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 10am. Both will be at Shrine of Saint Bernadette, 11509 Indian School Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM.
