Harry E. Misel Jr. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Harry E. Misel Jr. Born on ground hog day 1935 and passed on Memorial Day 2025. Harry was born in Hamilton, Ohio to Harry and Geneva (DeYoung) Misel Sr. He studied architecture at the University of Cincinnati and ran a successful business for 40 years in Kettering. He was an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and the Construction Specification Institute (CSI). He shared his love of sports with family, friends,and colleagues. Attending Super Bowls, the Indy 500, and Wolrd Series. He consumed hundreds of bratwurst while watching the big red machine at riverfront. Throughout his life, Harry held 5 passports and embraced adventure. He and Maggie, traveled extensively with their daughter Vanessa Mckee and grandsons Casey and Mason Mckee, visiting all 50 states, Australia, over the Artic Circle and many trips to see the mouse. He was drafted into the US Army and stationed at Ft. Knox. Harry and his friends shared a passion for WW 2 history. He proudly drove his gamma goat in parades with his beloved daschund, "The Outlaw" Josey Wales. He served as the president of the New Mexico Museum of Military History and was an active member of the Military Vehicle Preservation Association (MVPA). He had a zillion friends, and lived a full and charmed life. We will miss him every day. We take comfort knowing he is at peace with family.
