Inez resided in Gallup, New Mexico, until moving to Lawrence Kansas to attend school at Haskell Institute where she met the love of her life Louie, they grew so found of one another that by the end of school in 1965 they were calling him "Mr. Haskie." Come January 3, 1966, they tied the knot, and Louie was sent off to the Army while Inez learned she was pregnant with the first of what would later be three children. Nezzie was a volunteer at Dolores Gonzalez Elementary School before she started work with The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) where she retired in 2011. Nezzie's free, loving, caring one-of-a-kind spirit will be missed. She was a wonderful wife, a loving mother, a terrific grand/great-grandmother. She's survived by her children Tyrone, Tracy and Kevin; her 5 grandchildren Racquel, Luella, Alexandria, Gregory, and Savannah.
