James A. Morris James A. Morris, 86, died peacefully October 10, 2024 in New Mexico. An avid photographer, writer, artist, family researcher, hiker, rock climber and sailor. James was a volunteer in the first Peace Corps group in 1962 which was a turning point in his life. Received his PHD from University of New Mexico in 1974. Predeceased by his parents, Alvin F. Morris and Lorraine E. (Saylor) Morris and brother, Theodore A. Morris.
