Jean Brody (nee Dorothy Jean Lindsey) Jean Brody passed away at home on April 23rd, 2025. She was surrounded by her family till the end of her life. Jean was an anthropologist, ethno-botanist, plant enthusiast, and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a gifted scholar, educator, and homemaker; she infused everything she did with her unique joy of discovery. Jean is survived by her three children, Jefferson Lindsey Brody, Jonathan Edward Brody, and Allison Janet Brody; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She will be buried on April 27th, 2025, near her home in San Pedro with a small graveside service to be followed by a reception.
