Joanne Martin-Harrison Joanne Martin-Harrison, age 89, passed away September 21, 2024, from complications from dementia and heart failure. Mom is survived by her daughters, Terry Martin Apodaca and Trish Martin Karbowski; granddaughter, Alanna Fresquez Apodaca; sisters, Dee Prater and Betty Riley; and loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nikki Martin Frazier; parents, Denton and Bessie Adams; and sisters, Alma Herring and Judy Robinson. Mom was a DOD KAFB Personnel Office retiree, where she processed Workmen's Compensation claims. Our family wishes to recognize and thank the efforts of High Desert Hospice nurses and the caregivers at Morada Senior Living Memory Care Unit for their professionalism and generosity in their caring for our parents' health needs. Dad, Arthur Martin, and Mom were both sick with dementia and shared the same medical staff. Per Mom's wishes, she was cremated. Arrangements were handled by Riverside Funeral Home, 225 San Mateo NE, Albuquerque, NM.
