John H. Formea John Harry Formea, age 102, former long-time resident of Albuquerque (1957-2022), passed away on August 9, 2025, in Farmington, New Mexico. John is survived by his children: Jim and Florence of Colorado; Jeanne and Troy Ray of Colorado; Jude and Joe Sanders of Colorado; John T. and Ida of New Mexico. In addition, there are seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, one brother, two sisters, and two sisters-in-law, along with numerous nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy, two brothers, one sister, and a great-grandson. John was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish and the Knights of Columbus. Rosary will be recited on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 10:30 AM, prior to the Funeral Mass, at 11:00 AM, at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Lomas Blvd and Tennessee St. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.
