John Kenney MacWilliams and Joan Aldea Ricker John Kenney MacWilliams, 77, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, born 0ctober 27th, 1947, died July 21st 2025. Joan Aldea Ricker, 74, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, born March 15th, 1951, died July 19th 2025. Joan was born to Harold and Teresa Ricker in Lisbon, Maine in 1951 and was the youngest of four children. She graduated from Lisbon High School in 1968 and went on to become an Ophthalmic Nurse for New Mexico Eye Associates for over thirty years. She was a gifted baker and artist known for her cards. "Ken" was born to Donald and Jeanne MacWilliams in Fort Riley, Kansas in 1947 and was the oldest of seven children. He graduated from Catholic Central High School in Troy, New York 1968 and the US Army, serving as a forward observer in the 25th Infantry in Vietnam. While there he earned a Bronze Star (V). Ken mastered many trades including building, motorcycle restoration and llama breeding. Ken and Joan died in their home of natural causes only a few days apart. They shared a love of nature, compassion for others and independent spirit which continue to inspire those who love them. A Celebration of Life Event will be held on August 14th, 2025 at Dreams Event Studio at 3:30 for a 4pm ceremony. All are welcome.
