John (Mick) Verner We are saddened to announce that John "Mick" Verner, 66, passed away at home on May 22, 2025 after a long battle with ALS. John is survived by his wife, Diane, of almost 44 years, son Chris, daughter-in-law Liz, and brother William. He was predeceased by his parents Walter and Mary and his brothers James and Pete. John loved working in our garden, walking our dogs, hiking, napping, and traveling. His travels took him to many states and countries with family and friends. In lieu of flowers, we request donations to either the national ALS society or New Mexico ALS society to help cure this terrible disease.
