On August 29, 2025, at the age of 80, surrounded by love, she left this world for her eternal home. Jo, known to many as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, built her life on faith, love, and resilience. She shared a lifelong passion for Jesus and his love. Her presence touched everyone around her and will be greatly missed in the many circles she impacted. She leaves behind her husband, Richard Steadman; children, Tatia Konnick, Angelique Steadman (Darrick Easter), and Michael Steadman; grandchildren, Samuel Estrella, Bailey Heath, Ava Bishop, Eleanor Bishop, and Garrhett Easter; and three great-granddaughters. She is also survived by her siblings, Elizabeth Knox, Fred Maldonado, William Maldonado, and Teresa Pennison. She joins in rest her children Tiffany Konnick, Joseph Konnick, and Richard Steadman II (Rico); her brother, Robert Maldonado; and her parents, Fred and Priscilla Maldonado. A Celebration of Life will be held at Glory Christian Fellowship on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate Jo's remarkable life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the MS Foundation.
