Joyce Marie Armijo Joyce Marie Armijo, 61, of Albuquerque, NM, died suddenly from a heart attack on April 7, 2025, at her home. Joyce was born on September 1, 1963, Bend, OR, the daughter of Harry and Eyvonne (Lewis) Little. She graduated from high school in Petaluma, CA. Joyce loved life and cherished her family and friends above all else, especially children. She had a huge heart that extended to, and deeply touched, all who had the good fortune to know her. She was a humble woman with a heart filled with love, determination, humor, and compassion. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Joyce loved cats and camping and fishing. She is remembered as a loving daughter, sister, niece and aunt; for her genuine smile and laughter; and for the loving kindness she gave to all. She had the amazing gift of making people she met feel like they were the most special person in the world. She was a hard-working woman with an incredibly positive attitude; her energy and love seemed endless. She was employed for a number of years at Macy's and Target stores, and by current employer New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department. She was preceded in death by husband Michael Armijo, sister Kathy Gronvold, brother Victor Dean, uncle John Little, sister-in-law Laurie Eash, father Harry Little, mother Eyvonne Lewis, and sister Laurie Barrios. She is survived by brothers John (Dianna) Little, Jeff (Carrie) Barns, and David (Karen) and Duane (Georgia) Eash, and uncle Jim (Kimmy) Little and aunts Jane (Ron) Little and Sandy Stanley, and stepmother Ro Ellsworth-Little. She is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews, and 22 great nieces and nephews. A celebration of Joyce's life will be planned for a future time.
