Julianne M. Stangel Julianne (Julie, Aunt July) Marie Stangel passed away on March 3, 2025, in Los Lunas, New Mexico. Born on May 17, 1943, in Berea, Ohio, to Edward and Margaret Stangel. Julie pursued her nursing career starting in Ohio before moving Houston then finally Los Lunas in 2006. She served as the Detention Center provider in Los Lunas before her retirement in 2015. She was an active member of San Clemente Parish, singing in the choir, running the Gabriel Project and parenting classes, and volunteering with St. Vincent de Paul. A viewing, rosary and funeral mass will be held at 9:00 am on March 25, 2025, at San Clemente Catholic Church, 244 Luna Ave NE in Los Lunas. A Funeral Mass will follow.
