Kay Tsuyako Hirayama Hauenstein Kay Tsuyako Hirayama Hauenstein - 96, passed away October 19, 2024. She was born March 30, 1928 in Kumamoto, Japan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell E. Hauenstein and daughter, Susan Ann. She is survived by daughter, Barbara Vinikas, son, William E. Hauenstein, and son, Carl G. Hauenstein. Grandchildren, Alexander Vinikas, Evan Vinikas, Jocelyn Gonzales, and Janell Hauenstein. She has 4 great-grandchildren. As a teenager she witnessed the mushroom cloud rising over Nagasaki. She was trained as a seamstress and clothing designer, making many beautiful dresses and clothing for her family. Mom loved and was so proud of her family. We miss you, Mom.
