Landon Rudolph Cook Landon R. Cook was called to be with the lord Monday, May 19, 2025. Landon was born Thursday January 13, 1955 in Mountainair, New Mexico to Roscoe and Maybelle Cook. Landon was the third son, and the baby of the family. After graduating high school and spending a few years working, Landon enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1976 where he proudly served 4 years, stationed in Honolulu. After honorable discharge, Landon made a career following his family legacy driving trucks across the country. Landon was a charismatic, fun person to be around. He was generous and loving. His laugh will forever live in our hearts. He enjoyed all things western including Tombstone and Wyatt Earp, Louis L'amour, being a cowboy, raising horses and animals of all kind. Landon was the proud father to four children; Cher, Sean, Kim and Ashlee. Landon loved his family. Landon is preceded in death by his father Roscoe Cook, daughters Kim Cook and Cher Bergeron. Landon is survived by his Mother Maybelle Cook of Estancia, his brothers Larry (Leeanna) Cook of Albuquerque and Lynn (Carol) Cook of Estancia, his son Sean (Suzanne) Cook of Estancia and Daughter Ashlee Cook of Loveland, CO, Niece Christina (Eugene) Kostin, Grandchildren Andrew Bergeron, Tanesha Gaffney, Kaytlyn Bergeron, Hayley (Noah) Plog, Dshawn Smith, Kayla Cook, Deja Pierre, McKenzie Cook, Corey Pierre Jr, Carson Sappington and great grandchildren Braylee, Beverly and Belia. Memorial service will be held May 31, 2025 at Church of Christ in Estancia, with a potluck luncheon to follow. Please pray for our family and lift Landon up in your prayers. He will be deeply missed.
