Leonard B. Romero It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear brother Leonard. He was born in Hobbs, NM on November 6, 1954 to Amado and Ofelia Romero and died unexpectedly on August 27, 2025. He is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved brother Leo, and brother-in-law Jon Facey. He is survived by his sisters Maria, Helen (Mike), and Ann (Mark) as well as brothers Mark, James (Doris), David, Patrick, and John (Abby). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces. A mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande by Monsignor Lamber Luna following a rosary to start at 8:15 am on Friday, September 19, 2025. Interment will follow the mass at Gate of Heaven Cemetary.
