Lydia Gonzales Lydia Gonzales, 88, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2025, with family by her side. Our beautiful, beloved Mother will be missed by all. She leaves behind her son, Steve Gonzales and dearest, Pam Chavez; daughter, Janice Gonzales and spouse, Hugh O'Connor; sister, Arlene Santillanes; brother, Andy Tafoya and spouse, Kathryn; longtime companion, Oney Apodaca, and many loving family members. Pallbearers will be Ed Santillanes, Missy Lucero-Minter, Victor Apodaca, Marty Apodaca, and Jonathan Chavez. Rosary will be held Wednesday, September 10, 2025, 8 AM followed by mass at 9 AM at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 4th St. NW. Entombment to follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE.
