Magdalene (Maggie) Pacheco Our mom Magdalene (Maggie) Pacheco passed away peacefully on April 27th, 2025 in Albuquerque, NM. She was 85 years old. Maggie was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Jesse J Gonzalez and Dolores Cardenas. It was in Cheyenne that she met her soon to be husband Alfonso whom she married in 1957. They were together until his passing in 2023. Maggie was employed by the State of New Mexico Human Services as a caseworker that handled client eligibility for nursing homes. She retired in 1994. Maggie is survived by her three children, Dina (Phil) Collins, Deb (Mark) Hayden and Al Jr (Brenda) Pacheco. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Emilio Montoya, Ashleen (Shelby) Soloman and Madison Collins; and a great-grandson, John Soloman. She leaves behind a sister, Genevieve Gonzalez; and brother in-law, Dave (Betty) Pacheco, and many nieces and nephews. We wish to thank the care staff at Morada Assisted Living for all the help they provided to her especially in these last few months. Funeral services are pending at this time.
