Maria Elena Martinez Cornejo Maria Elena Martinez Cornejo, 90, of Albuquerque passed away October 8, 2025 surrounded by family. Maria was born in Clovis, NM to Pablo Martinez and Martha Baca. She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Manuel, Maria, and Ramona; and sons, John Paul and Ray. Maria is survived by her husband Richard Cornejo; children, Gilbert, Vickie, Rick, Maria (Bennie), Elizabeth (Dennis), and Lilly (Greg); grandchildren, Jaqlyn, Steve, Daniel, Renee, Monica, Louisa, Annamaria, Tiffany, Steven, Marcie, Laura, Martina, Dominic, Jonathan, Brooklyn, Nina, Lucas, and Morgan; 24 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Paul; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her family will hold a memorial service to honor her life on October 19, 2025.
