Mary Elizabeth Valdez Naranjo Mary Elizabeth Valdez Naranjo,
Mary Elizabeth Valdez Naranjo Mary Elizabeth Valdez Naranjo, a devoted mother, grandmother, and community advocate, passed away on March 8, 2025. Born and raised in Santa Fe, she was a longtime resident of Albuquerque, NM. Mary dedicated her life to family, faith, and service. She was deeply involved in education, local organizations, charitable work, and opening her home to those in need. She had a fulfilling career with Santa Fe Public Schools, Albuquerque Public Schools, and UNM, retiring in 1996. She is survived by her children, Nancy Cravens (Todd Cravens) and Jason Naranjo (Cindy Naranjo); grandchildren, Reyna Naranjo, Adrianna Naranjo, Derek Cravens, and Alec Cravens; brother, Bernie Valdez, and many beloved family members. A Rosary will be recited at 10:30 AM, followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM on March 21, 2025 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 1860 Griegos Rd NW, Albuquerque.
