Mary Helen Benvenuti Mary Helen Benvenuti, 87, retired to Albuquerque over the past 13 years, passed away October 3, 2025. Mary was known for her wisdom, wit, sense of humor, intelligence, and sociability. She could relate to everyone. This made her an exceptional hospital worker. She began as a ward clerk for the San Francisco University of California Hospital and retired as an Administrator III for U.C.L.A. Hospital. Mary is survived by her husband of 58 years, Doctor James Benvenuti, M.D.; by her daughter Angela Wasserman, her husband Merrill Wasserman; and by the four grandchildren of her deceased daughter Molly, (Noelle Petersen, Madeleine Benvenuti, Lukas Anderson, and James Anderson); and by her great-granddaughter Penelope Petersen. A rosary will precede the Funeral Mass on October 14, 2025 at 11:00 am. The Mass will be held on October 14, 2025 at 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Parish. Interment at the Santa Fe National Cemetery will be held at a later date.
