Mary Jane Carabajal 1946 - 2025 Mary Jane Carabajal, age 78, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on October 25, 2025 after a short fight with brain cancer. Services will take place at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church on Friday, November 7, 2025. with a Visitation at 2:00 p.m., Rosary at 3:00 p.m., and a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 3:30 p.m. Interment will Take place on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery. She is survived by her daughter, Edwina Carabajal-Bendinskas (Paul); grandchildren, Ashley and Alyssa Bendinskas who were the loves of her life; brother, Leo Chavez; niece, Andrea Casaus (Sonny); nephew, Raymond Sanchez along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and several dear friends who she considered family. Mary Jane is preceded in death by her parents, Horacio and Cecilia Chavez; daughters, Elaine and Regina Carabajal; sister, Gloria Sanchez and brother, Gillie Chavez. She was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. She was known for her avid sewing. Mary Jane always made a baby blanket for every baby she knew. She was a generous and kind person who was always the first person to be at her granddaughters' games and events. She will be greatly missed. Pallbearers will be Brandon Casaus, Everette Casaus, Raymond Sanchez, Brandon Comiskey, Milton Torres and Matthew Chavez.
