MaryAnn Burwinkle MaryAnn Burwinkle passed away on August 28, 2025, in Albuquerque, NM. She was born on January 15, 1938, and was the beloved wife of Joseph Burwinkle, Jr for 64 years before his death in 2021. She is survived by her five children, Annette (Michael) Castillo, Charlie Burwinkle, Patrick (Becky) Burwinkle, Dan (Bertha) Burwinkle, and Shawn (Robert) Guerra. She was a beloved Mima to 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. MaryAnn was an accomplished cook, seamstress, and quilter. Her family has many examples of her beautiful quilting endeavors. Her many interests and hobbies throughout her lifetime included square dancing with her husband, bridge and she was an avid reader. She also led a life of service as a volunteer at her church, at Presbyterian Hospital and as a hospice volunteer. She will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, donate to Hospice, as MaryAnn was a volunteer for many years and the family would like to continue her legacy.
