Michael Hamm Michael Hamm, age 77, of Albuquerque, passed away unexpectedly on October 8, 2025, following complications from a car accident. Born with a curious mind that left no question unasked, Mike lived a life defined by laughter, loyalty, and love. He made everyone laugh and took quiet joy in the simple things: hiking the Sandia trails, walking the dog, playing golf, and caring for his friends, his pets, and his church. A lengthy career as a consultant took him around the world, but his proudest work was always at home. A respected member of the community and a faithful parishioner of the Catholic Church, he found purpose in service and connection. He was preceded in death by Diana Kathleen Gallegos, mother of his only son Kyle. He is survived by his wife, Linda Manning; son, Kyle Hamm (Kylee); stepchildren, Steve Manning (Kristy), Scott Manning, and Sarah Harry (Reed); grandchildren, Brielle and Luke Hamm; and step-grandchildren, Christopher and Chloe Manning, and Alana and Duncan Harry. His steady presence, warm humor, and boundless stories will be deeply missed. Services will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 12500 Carmel Ave. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87122. Join us for a toast to Mike at Bosque Brewing, 5210 Eubank NE immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mike's memory may be made to Catholic Relief Services (CRS) or St. Felix Pantry.
